For Parish Councils

Parish Councils have a special role at the heart of our rural communities as leaders, influencers and drivers of public opinion. Parish Councils can therefore help us to get messages about broadband upgrades in their area out to every household.

Warwickshire County Council is leading the project to improve broadband across the sub-region and we need your help to keep people informed.

Working alongside our Community Broadband Champions, Parish Councils can help keep local residents informed with the progress of the project as well as updating residents about when fibre broadband is likely to come to the area.

What can you do?

  • Put posters up on local notice boards
  • Deliver leaflets to households
  • Hold specific meetings to inform residents about the project and its progress
  • Provide updates via your parish magazine or newsletter (we will provide the copy through this website)
  • Provide updates via your parish/village website
  • Deliver presentations to local groups about the project
  • Post updates to relevant social media pages

All materials will be provided.
