My property has a Pink Circle on it, what does that mean?

Prior to going out to tender for Contract 3 we carried out an Open Market Review, under which all commercial providers were asked to state where they would be providing superfast broadband coverage by the end of 2019.

Pink circles on the map represent properties in areas where an independent provider (AltNet) has previously said that they are currently providing superfast coverage.

Under State Aid rules our project is not allowed to intervene in these areas. AltNets are the providers most likely to have changed their rollout plans, so please check your property carefully.

We will be reviewing these returns on an annual basis to establish if the service is available, or if the necessary work is likely to be carried out.

If the supplier states that they are unlikely to be able to complete the work then the area would be eligible for consideration for future interventions under this project, should additional funding become available.

We are continually actively seeking additional funding.

Because the supplier information was given in commercial confidence, we are not able to give details of the providers concerned, unless they have given permission for us to do so.

The following letters denote those providers who have given permission for us to display their information:

I = ITS

S = Voneus (formerly SugarNet)

G = Glide (Formerly WarwickNet)
