Before going out to tender for Contract 3 we carried out an Open Market Review (OMR), where all commercial providers were asked to state where they were planning on providing superfast broadband coverage.
If the Check Your Property tool has returned the status of ‘AltNet (Under Review)’ when you enter your postcode, this means that an independent supplier previously stated they would provide coverage in your area. Under State Aid rules our project is not allowed to intervene in these areas.
If the supplier doesn’t complete the work, then the area will be eligible for consideration for future interventions under the CSW Broadband Project if additional funding became available.
